I'm just gonna start adding this to any google ai nightmare i come across.
YOU CAN GET RID OF AI RESULTS BY ADDING -AI ON THE END.
That is [minus sign] ai. It doesnt seem to matter on the capitalization (also don't feel bad if you forget, bc adding a new thing to every google search is like forming a new habit, companies adding ai that you cannot opt out of is not a moral failure on your part (fuck the companies tho))
Hope this helps!

The fact this isn't illegal is astonishing. It is straight-up spyware. Where do they get off assuming anyone is okay with them reading their private documents?
Microsoft Office, like many companies in recent months, has slyly turned on an “opt-out” feature that scrapes your Word and Excel documents to train its internal AI systems. This setting is turned on by default, and you have to manually uncheck a box in order to opt out.
If you are a writer who uses MS Word to write any proprietary content (blog posts, novels, or any work you intend to protect with copyright and/or sell), you’re going to want to turn this feature off immediately. How to Turn off Word’s AI Access To Your Content
I won’t beat around the bush. Microsoft Office doesn’t make it easy to opt out of this new AI privacy agreement, as the feature is hidden through a series of popup menus in your settings:On a Windows computer, follow these steps to turn off “Connected Experiences”:
File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Privacy Options > Privacy Settings > Optional Connected Experiences > Uncheck box: “Turn on optional connected experiences”

I haven't personally verified this as I'm not at a computer, but multiple people in multiple places are saying the same thing. This is fucking insane. First the endless war on UBlock, then the Chromium changes to shut out some blocker functionalities entirely next year, now this?
Something is deeply rotten in recent Google/YouTube policy. I can't imagine that this is legal - how is this not anticompetitive? Google needs to get mega fucked in the press and the courts sooner rather than later.
And I need to switch to Firefox as soon as I get home.
